Finalcad introduced last week (May 15) a new mobile app for the Android platform to complement its existing iOS and Windows 8 apps.
According to the company, Finalcad is a site management solution that is designed for all involved stakeholders, including contractors, general contractors and architects.
This application is used for quality control, Quality, Safety & Environment (QSE) monitoring, shell phase or electrical and plumbing controls during construction, punchlists prior to reception, reception, delivery, maintenance and facility management.
In a media statement, Finalcad said that the Android app will help meet high demand from Asian markets, where it has been extensively used already, especially in the Southeast Asia region.
Some of its customer projects include Singapore Sports Hub, Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), Changi General Hospital (Singapore), D'Nest (Singapore), Berjaya Central Park (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), the Matrade Exhibition Center (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), as well as housing project Eco Majestic (Iskandar Malaysia).
"While we've been already successful with our current offering on many local projects, the introduction of the Android app will open a breadth of new opportunities, given the widespread popularity of this mobile platform in Asia," said Pierre Vauthrin, Asia Director, Finalcad.
The Finalcad Android app is now available for download on the Google Play Store.
